Goodbye 2010...Hello 2011...

Okay, okay, I know, I know...you've heard this before - some blogger forgets about his/her blog and lets it die only to proclaim he/she will make posts again. Lather, rinse, repeat.

I will try.

I let it go dormant for 2010. I don't know why.

Here we go....

Kealee and Eden are staying with a new babysitter, Terri Neal of Meadville, while Becky's back recuperates from her surgery. The girls seem to be fine with it. There are a couple of girls a little older than Kealee who act very mature from what I've been told and Kealee watches their every move.

Eden is fine with about anyone. She likes Terri. We're blessed.

Here's the latest picture if you're a blog-reader only and not a Facebook friend.

Yes, it is a professional print. Yes, we bought the rights to it. It is legal.

We have a 16x20 of it. I have a mousepad of it. We have given out numerous 8x10 and 5x7s of it. We are pretty proud of our girls.

Eden will be 9 months old on 12/31. Kealee turned 3 on 12/13.

Kealee is doing "big girl" things like getting out of diapers...for the most part.
Eden is getting ornery and has two teeth on her bottom gum.

I'll get back in the swing of this blog soon...

the babysitters...

My Mom with all the granddaughters (including our female dog JoJo in the background)

Eden will be four weeks old tomorrow. Hard to believe.

ORNERY...
Eden has two old farmer grandpas that like to let her nap on their chest.

My parents came up today. I think they were getting the shakes. It's been a while since they had seen the girls.

3 weeks and a few days....

I was told I had to put this picture in there since we have one almost exactly like it of Kealee in those same socks.
Kealee tries to be gentle but sometimes...

Kealee wearing a pair of my socks.

One week later Eden is really filling out. I think she weighed 9 lbs 4 oz this week!

Our normal routine is for Shana and Kealee to go to bed about 8:30 and then I give Eden her last bottle about 8 or 9 and sometimes another one about 10 or 11 and then put her in bed. Some nights Shana gets up with her a couple of times and I see them half-asleep in the recliner at 6 a.m...other times Shana seems more refreshed and says, "she did really good - I gave her a bottle at 3 or 4 and she slept on until now!"

Kealee threw the tennis ball for JoJo to fetch and it bonked Eden on the head. She flinched and then went right back to sleep. She seems to be fine (or as good as she could be with our genes) so maybe we should say she has a hard head.

The tired Mom.
I believe I am half-asleep here, too...
